High demand for skilled workers helped drive a 1% dip in the national construction unemployment rate. However, rising material costs continue to present a large obstacle to the industry, according to an analysis of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data released by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
